Moto G8, Moto G8 Power Specifications Leak Alongside Renders

Motorola introduced the Moto G8 Plus and G8 Play last year, and now Moto G8 and G8 Power images have been surfaced online along with the specifications.

Motorola is now working on its new smartphones- Moto G8 and Moto G8 power. Recently, Moto G8 Power got certified by the FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance sites. Now, a couple of press renders hinting at the design of the Moto G8 have surfaced on the Web. The key specifications of these phones have also leaked online now.

As per the leaks, Moto G8 and Moto G8 Power are said to sport rear-mounted physical fingerprint scanners and run on Android 10 out of the box. Both the phones will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Soc and comes with a similar design. Moto G8 and Moto G8 power has a punch-hole display.

  • Processor: Octa-Core Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform (Quad 2GHz Kryo 260 + Quad 1.8GHz Kryo 260 CPUs) with Adreno 610 GPU
  • Memory: 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, expandable memory up to 512GB with microSD
  • Cameras: 16MP (f/1.7 primary) + 2MP (f/2.2 macro sensor) + 8MP (f/2.2 wide-angle) + 8MP f/2.4 (could be telephoto) rear cameras; 25MP (f/2.0) front camera
  • Connectivity: Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C
  • Battery: 5000mAh with support for 18W fast charging

As of now, there is no information on the availability and pricing details of these phones. Motorola may launch these phones on Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 next month.
