Sigma mobile X-treme PQ37 with IP68 protection rating

In early October, the Sigma X-treme PQ53 protected smartphone with a 5000 mAh battery was introduced , and now another interesting modernness has appeared in the manufacturer's arsenal - the Sigma mobile X-treme PQ37.

Its case corresponds to the highest rating of protection IP68. The smartphone can be immersed in water to a depth of 1.5 m for 30 minutes or it can be in a very dirty environment and not lose its performance.

To fix the components inside the case, a damping titanium plate is used, which strengthens the design and is an additional protective factor in case of accidental drops of the smartphone. The novelty can operate in a wide range of temperatures: from -20 ° C to + 45 ° C.

The computing power of the Sigma X-treme PQ37 is an 8-core MediaTek Helio P23 processor (8 x Cortex-A53 @ 2.0 GHz). The amount of RAM is 4 GB, and a constant - 64 GB. The latter can be expanded with a microSD memory card (up to 128 GB), but since the slot is hybrid, you will have to sacrifice one of two Nano-SIM cards.

The screen in the Sigma mobile X-treme PQ37 is represented by a 5.5-inch IPS-panel with a resolution of HD (1280 x 640) and a protective glass Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The front camera received an 8-megapixel Samsung 4H8 sensor with a LED flash and a wide-angle lens ( 86 °), and the rear is based on the Sony IMX135 13-megapixel sensor (flash, autofocus, image stabilization).

Among other advantages and features of the novelty, we highlight:

  • a good set of network modules (802.11a / b / g / n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC; GPS (A-GPS), GLONASS);
  • 3.5mm audio port and microUSB;
  • the use of a capacious 3600 mAh battery with pumpExpress fast charging function;
  • the presence of a fingerprint scanner;
  • Use pure Android OS 8.1 Oreo with Google Mobile Service certification.

Dimensions of new items are 158 x 75 x 11.5 mm, and weight - 209 grams. The recommended cost of the Sigma mobile X-treme PQ37 is at $ 300.
