Xiaomi was launched Redmi 8A on 25th September,2019. The phone has 6.22" display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and display resolution of 720x1520 pixels with 271 ppi pixel density .

Xiaomi Redmi 8A is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and runs Android 9 Pie. It comes with two variants of RAM that is 2GB and 3GB with 32GB of internal storage which can be later expandable upto 512GB via microSD card.

As for as the camera concerned, it has 8MP front camera and 12MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. 

Xiaomi Redmi 8A, the battery capacity is 5000mAh and supports proprietary fast charging. The Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth v5.00, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. This phone supports face unlock.

It is available in three different colours that is Midnight Black, Sunset Red, and Ocean Blue colours. The price of this phone is Rs.6,499 for 2GB+32GB and Rs.6,999 for 3GB+32GB
